The last week of our Summer Show

It’s the last week of our Summer Show!

With the long weekend fast approaching, why not choose Cambridge as your destination. We've had a look at local hotels including Gonville HotelRegent HotelUniversity Arms, Lensfield Hotel and charming b&bs like Crafts Hill Barn and AirBnB and there are some amazing options!

There are so many reasons to visit Cambridge this week - Kettle’s Yard and Fitzwilliam Museum have reopened and it’s also the last week to enjoy the Eat Out to Help Out Scheme. Our favourite places to grab lunch is Cafe Abantu, and for coffee Bould Brothers - both just around the corner from the gallery!

We have received last deliveries for our Summer Show including these stunning glass pieces by Naomi Brangwyn above and new oil paintings by Reg Cartwright and Arabella Shand. Our mixed Summer Show ends on Sunday 30th August. We hope you can make it!

Cambridge based artists Helen Martino and Sarah Went have also delivered a beautiful selection of their new work:

Next up is an exhibition of paintings by Lesley Seeger and Sally Fitter with ceramics by Shirley Vauvelle.

We cannot wait to show you all the stunning work!

The show runs from 5 September to 27 September

We would like to thank you again for all the generous donations to our fundraiser during lockdown. If you’d like to redeem your greetings cards, please visit us before 31st October 2020 and spend your greetings card credit in the gallery.

Thank you to all our customers for adhering to our new rules and accepting that this is our new reality for a little while. The footfall in Cambridge is still 53% down on last year. With so many shops closing around us, we are fearing second wave and how it's going to affect our Christmas trade.

If you can, do come and say hello👋 If you can't - do support us by shopping online.

If you'd like to give us feedback about our website or anything really - drop us a message at info@cambridgecrafts.co.uk.

We're looking forward to seeing you in the gallery!

Our Summer Show continues…

The temperature is rising here in Cambridge but we are keeping calm and cool in the gallery. The good news is that Cambridge City Council are reducing parking to £1 per hour, 7 days a week between 1st August and 31st October. Why not come into Cambridge and treat yourself to a spot of shopping!

We have just changed our displays at the crafts gallery! Come see all the new work - as always every piece we display is handmade in the U.K. Help us support artists, who have been so profoundly hit by the ongoing pandemic.
